Asia is a district in the south of the province of Lima (it ranges from about 90 kms. south of the city to about 110 kms). The hang out place is "El Boulevard" also known as "Sur Plaza" at about km 97. There you will an annex of most restaurants in Lima, as well as boutiques and your usual supermarket and Ripley (kindda like a Lord & Taylor). There are also many night clubs that cater to people from 18 yrs old (yes, the drinking age in Peru is 18) to 40 yrs old. The sun-set ove the islands of Asia is beautiful as well as the many dolphins that fish in these waters between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.

the best beaches are: Cayma, Las Brisas, Las Palmas, La Isla and Flamingos (they are all in from of the island that acts as a reef, making the sea a little calmer). I'll see if I have pics and post them later.
