Hotels in Paris? 2 night stay, near attractions?

Hotels in Paris? 2 night stay, near attractions?

While Paris is a compact city with an excellant public transportation system I disagree with any suggestion that you stay in the outskirts. Tourists should stay in the 4th, 5th or 6th arrondissements.

There are a vast number of places to stay in these areas in every price range. Being rather the frugal sort (or, a skinflint as my wife says) I like the Hotel St. Andre des Art where a double costs only 89 euros a night, taxes and breakfast included. http://www.123france.co.uk/en/0/hotel-sa...

you should have a look on web sites. they make lastminute offers.
Do not forget than in paris the subway is well done and taxis are not too expendive. subwaylines go out of paris and an hotel in montrouge (a city that touches paris) will cost you half the price than in paris itself. and for the same travelling/walking time).

You can search and choose hotel information, rates and availability for free in over 200 countries world wide at my profile.
