Have you ever been on a boat trip on the river Seine?

What was it like? Was it during the day or the night? Thanks! x

Yes! Or should I say oui! You can't visit Paris and not go on a boat trip on the Seine! I've been on both day and night trips, several times.

I prefered the night-time one; it was magical! You could see the city lit up! It truly deserves the nickname "The City of Lights"! It was very romantic, it would be amazing to share it with someone special.

The daytime was great for sight-seeing. You could see a lot of the sights of Paris!

There was a guide speaking that you could hear in several different languages too.

Overall, I would give it 10/10. It's an amazing experience and you're sure to love it! Don't miss it!

Yes, it was lovely actually, because you get to see a lot of great buildings on the coasts. It was during the day.

no

Night time dinner cruises on the seine are fantastic and also a way to meet others if you should happen to be alone.
"Do It!"

Last July I took both. The day cruise was included as one of the attractions on our Paris-Pass. Get one, you will really appreciate it as it includes a Metro/Bus pass, and a day on the open top hop on hop off tour bus route with earphones for an audio tour. Stops in front of every major attraction.

The day cruise was real pleasant giving a different viewpoint of the attractions.
They use different boats for the day and evening cruises.
The evening cruise was absolutely outstanding. It was expensive, but compared to the amount I had already spent, it was our honeymoon, it was worth every cent we paid. I did the select service - mid grade - the dinner was suprisingly good if you are a gourmet, I expected it to be so so. There was plenty of booze (I did get a bit wasted) and time for dancing with my bride. We bought the photo, and it currently adorns our wall. Looking at the photo puts a smile on my face. While it cost 125 Euro's each, close to $200, it isn't like we will be doing it again any time soon.

Enjoy.

I rode the one at Pont Neuf at night, really worthwhile.

yes-lovely-day-you're welcome

During the day is fine but a bit dull. However, it's a good way to put together all the places you have seen.

At night, the romance kicks in. :-) The big lights on the sides of the boat enlighten everything. Really worth a try.

Anyway, do that on your last day/night to keep at once all the good memories.

I was on a boat tour at sunset. It was absolutely beautiful and you can see so many important buildings and areas. I loved Paris
