What are some good questions to ask in a French train station?

I need to know some good questions to ask in a French train station, for example:

~how to buy a ticket
~when the train leaves
~what platform the train is on

Thanks for all help!!

in the train stations, look if there is a english flag : there are always english speaking train agents. even if you know the questions, wd you understand the answers ?

- je voudrais un ticket pour (destination), aujourd'hui/demain (today/tomorrow), le matin/l'apr猫s-midi/le soir (morning/afternoon/evening)

- 脿 quelle heure est-ce que le train part ?

- le train se trouve sur quel quai / le train se trouve 脿 quelle voie ?

Best thing to do is say, "Parlez-vous anglais?" Most everyone will help you in english as long as you approach them in French and be sure to thank them in French. Start with a Bonjour madame/ monsieur, mademoiselle. Don't just jump into asking for english. Make sure that you Do know that "driote" is right and "gauche" is left. "Toute droite" is straight ahead.

I can tell you, once you get your ticket...they don't like to answer questions since it is all on your ticket. Better look for English speakers to help.

Most of the staff in French train stations speak English.
