I am traveling with my husband to Paris. We are trying to decide how to get from the airport to our apartment

CDG to Rue Agar, in 75016. How much is a taxi, would a private shuttle service be less? We will have too much luggage for the train, bus, metro. Thanks for the advice.

A taxi to that location will cost between 65-70 euros.

A shared shuttle service will cost considerably less. There are many such services. As an example look here: http://www.parishuttle.com/ As you can see, the price for this service for two persons will be 38 euros.

However, let me state that unless you are moving to Paris to live for the rest of your life, there is no excuse for traveling with more than one reasonably sized piece of luggage and one standard carry on. Overpacking is the single biggest mistake made by neophyte travelers.

You can taxe a cab , but trust me it's really expensive in Paris!

Did you try the airport website? They should have info about what ground services are available.

QuickAid.com has info about airports, also.

The best way for you to get to you apartement in Paris is to take the Air France Shuttle Bus #2 from CDG to - Porte Maillot - then, it will only be a short taxi ride to your apartement as Port Maillot is the 16th arrondisement.

Oh, just bite the bullet and take a cab. It will be TONS easier, and much worth whatever it costs. You will probably be exhausted when you arrive, and I'm sure you will be glad you did it this way.

Hello. I m Parisian.

I can suggest you the Airport shuttle. The line which take u from the CDG airport to op茅ra (Central Paris). Then take a taxi, it will be better cos a taxi from the CDG airport is near 60鈧? but just check in which airport you arrive. 3 in Paris : Orly, Roissy-CDG, Le Bourget.

Enjoy your travel
