I'm a teenage girl going to Paris. what should i wear???

Could I wear nice, expensive blue jeans? and could i even get away with classy black hi-top sneakers? what do teenagers in Paris wear anyway??

Go casual when you're cruising the streets. Parisians actually really like Americans who just dress American. Tennies are must. You'll be walking like crazy and you never know when you might have to jump-kick some raunchy French man who's after your *** (I am not kidding).

Hmmm i would wear a white tank with a black see through shrug with nice fitting jeans and just a pair of black converse... Don't forget the berret!

You will be just fine with what you describe Parisian youth are pretty casual and follow the USA fashion trends.I would dress fancier though if youre going to a nice restaurant or to something formal as the opera or ballet
Have a nice trip!!!

nothing

Expensive and classy and high-top are mandatory - and don't forget your snorkel and flippers - this is the last mood on the Champs-Elys茅es

I'm a teenage girl too and...
Jeans are good, skinny jeans are best because that's the fashion trend right now. If you wear all-star converse hi-tops you'll fit right in, all the teenagers wear those.

Stick to basic stuff like sweaters and jeans...
Do you know the store urban outfitters?
They dress like that...

Skip the beret...
Skip the fanny pack...
Skip the comfy tennis shoes...

You should wear what what suits you, what suits your personal style and what you will be comfortable in when traveling.

In the first place, French teenagers don't dress all that differently than Americans. In the second place, no one is going to be fooled into thinking you are French anyway since its not likely you speak fluent French.

If there is anything you do to alter your wardrobe for travel it should be to consider the need to be able to dress for whatever the weather conditions will be and to have clothes that don't show dirt and can be easily cleaned in your hotel room sink.

They wear the same clothes as back home. Wear comfortable clothes. I am a teenager and never used a single pair of jeans in Paris.

There is alot of walking involved so avoid thin soled shoes
Enjoy your trip
