Nice places to go out in Paris on a budget?

I've been to Paris a couple of times and have visited most of the attractions. However, I've never had a good feel of the city cause I never stayed long enough and always used the underground. I'll be staying in Montmarte and want advice on nice streets to go out for a cofee, nice restaurants and bars to go out in the evening. Also if you know of not so well known attractions worth seeing. I'm only there for 3 days. Also, is it easy to cycle about? Paris is quite flat, isn't it?

Thank you.

Monmatre is up on a hill, so good luck with that. LOL!!! The best places to see and eat is the Latin Quarter. Enjoy your trip!!!

Most of Paris is quite flat but if you've decided to stay in Montmartre you'll be on a mountain (Mont Martre...thats where the neighborhood name comes from). Paris sits in what is essentially a shallow river valley which rises to its high points of Montmartre on the north and Montparnasse on the south.

If he doesn't happen to answer your question you might consider asking frequent Y!Answers contributor Tiramisu ( http://fr.360.yahoo.com/profile-1M7rs1Ai... ) directly by email as he lives in this neighborhood.

Here is a link to some great restaurants:

Have a fabulous time!
