How much time would it take from the Chaps Elysees to rue st denis by a taxi ? Can I walk it ?

Is it too far from the Champs Elysees ?

It could take forever by taxi, traffic is too bad in Paris. You can take m茅tro line 1 (direction Ch芒teau de Vincennes) to Ch芒telet and then walk north to rue St-Denis. There are several m茅tro stops along the Champs Elys茅es.

The total distance is about 2 miles from Arc de Triomphe (one mile for the Champs Elys茅es alone) so it's walkable if you enjoy walking. Just walk down the Champs, then walk through the Tuileries Garden to the Louvre and rue St-Denis will be a little further north-east. It's a long but pleasant walk.

It's quite a long walk, but completely do-able. If you don't want to walk, take the metro ligne 1 to chatelet-les halles.
