Clothing/accessories to buy in Paris?

I am going to paris in april and want to buy somthing nice to come home with. i really like purses and want to buy somthing that i can not get in the US or is decently priced in france. i was concedering a longchamp but i hear they are cheaper to buy here. i also want to buy some clothes while i am there too. my budget is kind of tight too. what do you recomend i buy?

Try the outlet mall at Val d'Europe. My girlfriend shopped there and found scarves, coats and handbags better priced (and there is a Longchamps and Ralph Lauren, fyi!). She seemed to feel she got some good deals. La Madeleine has some outlets too, I think she said.

If you do buy a purse from Longchamps, for the love of all that is holy, don't buy the le pliage....they are so done

Depends on where you are coming from. The American dollar is not good over there so you lose money when you convert.... going to the outlets would be your best bet.
There are probably books that show where they all are.

Go to the Marche Aux Puces (Flea Market) at Porte de Clignoncourt on Fri,Sat, or Sun. Lots of great vintage that no one else will have in the US.

try going to galerie lafayette. it's like a huge mall except pretty. you can find anything there. i got a a really cute ipod case for 3 euros. abt 5 dollars.

Yes it's true that Longchamps it's cheaper but...don't buy any model!

LONGCHAMP. the most useful and classy bags. theyre a little pricey but they dont go out of style. ive had mine that i bought in paris since 2005 and its still in great shape.
