What is panama city, panama and/or bocas like? |
im a warm weather kindof person, and im traveling to panama for spring break and visiting my aunt on an island called bocas. Bocas del Toro is an island that epitomizes tropical paradise. Bring a bathing suit, lots of sunscreen, and prepare to be fairly bored if you don't like swimming 24/7 because there isn't much else to do. :-) Panama City is very pretty, and very modern, and the people are REALLY nice. My only complaint is the bugs. In Panama City, If you want to look like everybodyelse. jeans and a shirt...and shoes. It is not the most confortable thing to wear in humid country, but that is how poeple dress there. In the evening, the same as if you were in the U.S. maybe a little bit mroe dressier, people do fixed themselves a lot before going out in the evening..(No jeans at night, do not recommend it, nobody really does that) In bocas its another deal, over there is mroe coutnry style, more tourist like...If you ar egoing to the beach, it is OK not to wear jeans..have fun and enjoy your stay |
