Whats the best beach to go to in Goa?

One cannot tell which beach is the best one in Goa as Goa has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world..However u can check out some Goa beaches at http://www.goaholidayhomes.com that has a section about the beaches in Goa..

haha I can't wait to go back it's a brilliant place. Down the south end of Goa has the better and quieter beaches like pandelim (not sure of spelling) but the trade off here is that it's quieter at night too so there isn't much going on - still some nice places to eat\drink though just not as busy as baga ect.

edit - thanks alan thats how you spell it, thats where I was thinking of too Palolem & yes reading this has made me want to go back too!

My favourite is Vagator.....

I spent a couple of months there a few years ago and my favourite plave i stayed was Palolem in the South. It was just so beutiful. It was about 20 minutes tops to walk one end to the other, shaped like a horse shoe.

There's a little Island just out a little bit called Monkey Island that you can walk out to when the tide goes out. I stayed in this beach hut right on the beach and i got a hammock and would justt lie there watching life go by. In the evening there would be a beutiful sunset and the fisher men would be pulling in thier nets with dolphins jumping around.

It really was the ideal place to chill. In my experiance and what I've heard from quiet alot of people the south of Goa is the nicest as it has less resorts and hotels so retains alot of charm.

I'm sure wherever you go you'll love it and Goa isn't that big so if you don't like it have a look around and find somewhere you do.

Candolim beach has got to be the best .even better when they move The River Princess Which run aground years ago Still cant wait to go back

there great to chill on

.palolem beach, quiet, scenic,every one goes on about baga etc but south Goa is best for a chill out place literally

All the beaches are viery nice but Baga Beach an Calanguate beach in goa are the most heppening beaches. you can check the details on holiday club india .net

I would choose Vagator in the north and Utorda in the south.
