Have u been in goa ?

Have u been in goa ?

We went to Goa in '96 and had a fantastic holiday. The people were very friendly, the beaches divine and the food was wonderful. There are lots of beautiful sights and the colours and scents really lift the spirits.
However, there is some sadness about it too, there is poverty, there are beggars and the Caste system can be seen and it is important to acknowledge these things too.
Tourism is obviously the major industry and the hippy culture is alive still although becoming more elusive I hear.
I would love to go back there again and if you are thinking of going then please do, I don't think you'd regret it for a minute.
Best time of year to go is probably from late October into early spring before the monsoons arrive and fairly well after they've finished. Pre monsoon it becomes incredibly hot and humid and I'm sure you guess how it is post!
Enjoy!

no what is it?

dont think so but thanx 4 the points

no , but i would love to go

Yes, a beautiful, hot part of India

Yes in september 2004..why do you ask?

A friend of mine went to goa a few years ago and 'went' on a train. He got ill and did a number 2 in his trousers and had to put them in the bin. He got off the train in his pants and tried to find a clothes shop. He found one and asked for some trousers at the counter, obviousley the guy didnt understand, so he made hand gestures in the shape of trousers. The shopkeeper smiled and gave him a bag with some trousers in, quickly he got back on the train, and put on the trousers and they didnt fit, he tooked them off and the trousers was actually a jumper! he had to wear them all the way home but no one on the train even looked at him!

Goa is a fantastic place to visit in India with beautiful beaches and culture to mingle with. I would add another very popular and affordable tourism that of Golden Triangle Tour. Look for more on website www.goldentriangletour.com
