Trip to goa in july????

i am planning to make a trip to goa next month(july) with my friends....is this the right time, as i heard there will be less beach restaurants b'coz of the coming monsoons..

Yes, best time is Dec/Jan....you might be going during monsoon....been there during that time, not fun...you'll be visiting churches and stuff...no real beach fun!

depends what your looking for, if its quiet you want, then yes. if its frolicking in the sea and beach parties, then no!. i love the monsoon time, indoor pubs, rain pelting down, got that cozy feeling about it, reminds me of England, but without the cold, and the English people<lol joking

If you are going with your friends, there cannot be a better time than July - It is Monsoon time and room tariff are quarter of what they are in peak season. There are many interesting things to do at Goa in Monsoons. Bargain hard and you will get an excellent resort for Rs. 200/-. If you are a boisterous group: Calangute, Anjuna and Baga are better. If you want peace and quiet ambiance try Colva. Palolem is god but the cottages there gets soggy in Monsoons. Have a great time

if its monsoon then you might have to stay in hotel, means you cant enjoy beach fun..

sometimes they dont allow you to go on beach coz of rain.

Best time is December , but could be very expensive.

GOA is heaven...

Goa is fun all year round...

the beach is always open but do not venture out in the water as the sea there throws up a warm current and so swimming in 40 foot waves is not advisable unless u r a surfer....

july is a time accomodation and food in goa is real cheap...

booz in Goa is always fun but in the rain try to do the local feni instead of a dumb beer...

coz u'l miss the beaches.. they r real violent in july..
the rain is so heavy tht u cant move out of hotel..
all moist.. humid.. yuck!!!

u can go august/sep tht time fares wud be more than july but bearable than oct-dec..

yes fares wud be cheapest now but its not worth if u gonna simply sit in the hotel & have no fun.. no beach parties..
