Best area family holiday Goa?

calanguate beach provides good space for family... you will find lots of desi tourists....................good food including one vegitarian joint.

also there are good hotels in nearby area....

I personally enjoy Palolem, but anywhere in Goa is interesting. I suggest wherever you stay you hire a car or a taxi for the day and explore...then you'll know where you want to go next time.

If you are planning a package holiday and have young children then I would recommend Cavalossim, South Goa. The beach is safer and quieter than in the resorts in the North, there isn't a rave scene and there's a variety of hotels from 3 star to very luxurious 5 star.
If you're doing more of a backpacker holiday then a beach hut in Palolem is lovely, some can be pre-booked (the Lonely Planet has details) which will be necessary if you're going peak season (December, January). Have a great time wherever you go, I love Goa.

I'll say Cavelossim beach in South Goa.I have a few place's I could recomend.

Candolim Beach is best for a family holiday...

the place is cheap ... close enough to all the good places to see in goa and is well connected to all places of interest in Goa...
