How can I get to Capo d'Orlando(Sicily)?

I want to get to Capo d'Orlando.I wonder if the train from Milano to Palermo goes through Capo d'Orlando???If not, I'm thinking to go to Messina and then I will go to Capo from there.What do you think I should do?What is the best solution for going to Capo d'Orlando by train???

Capo di Orlando is 186 km from Catania. You would probably change trains there. From Milano, this is a long train ride. There are trains that are put on a ferry from the mainland to Messina, so you might not have to change trains until you get to Catania.
