Can I use Yahoo to send and receive e-mail while in Italy and Sicily back home to the US?

If you already have a yahoo account, technically, sure you can!! Your account is the same no matter where you go. You should use the same ID and Password even if you open the main page in other languages. Remember that Internet pages have global access (unless an specific company, government or Internet admin restrict it) and you can do whatever no matter where you are only by being able to open the page.

By the way just log on to the standard yahoo e-mail page that you normally use (in your country). Why? each country may have the service but with another domain (com.ca, com.mx, com.jp etc) and you want to access the service you use in your place so you can use the same account.

But, even when you can use your account, the problem is to find a place with Internet to log in... that will be the hard part.
