Fast track passport renewal- how long does it take?

I've heard that you can go to one the main post offices (located in Liverpool, Peterborough, Durham, London etc) and have your passport renewed on the same day (?!) for about 拢50-70... Is this true?

That is true. My husband and I did that with my now 2 year old son back in September just before going on vacation in October. They had the visa, passport, and everything that same day. We just had to wait a little while, about an hour.

You can send it by air or you can have it shipped. Look into the shipping companies. They take a lot longer but they are less expensive.
