Ryanair hang luggage, includes laptop?

Hi there. Tommorow I will be travelling to Malta from Luton airport, I will only be taking my small backpack and a laptop case, and I just suddenly wondered, if I'm only aloud to take one piece of hand luggage, would that include or not include my laptop, I really hope it doesnt because I am not intending on taking any suit cases as it is just a short trip.
Thanks in advance.
Sami.

Budget airlines have not changed their rules after the recent relaxation. So It's one in the hold and one in hand....

yep, laptop AND hand baggage!

Why not take a bag big enough to carry the contents of your backpack and the laptop... :)

It really depends on the staff at the airport.

They can be nice, and let you carry your bag+ your laptop, but you might have some d#%khead who's not going to let you through the security with two pieces of luggage.
My advice is leave a bit of room in your backpack so that you can put your laptop in it, if there's any problem at the security.

it depends..
i guess ur laptop can be in ur hand baggage or separate..
last time i saw some people having just the laptop
and some others with the laptop and the hand luggage.

You can get rucsacs designed to fit a laptop, among other bits n' pieces.

yep literally everything you carry counts and hand luggage even electrical things.

Please take my advice seriously.

You CANNOT take more than 1 item of hand luggage.

Athough some airports and airlines have relaxed the rules slightly, Ryaniar not only hasn't, but has also announced that they never will increase the allowance ... but, coincidentally, they charge up to 拢16 each way to check bags into the hold ...

Here's what they say - there's a link below, too, so you can see for yourself. Don't "hope they'll let you on," I promise that they won't.

Sorry!

Cabin Baggage Allowance

Each passenger (excluding infants) is permitted to carry one piece of cabin baggage on board (free of charge). It should weigh no more than 10kg and not exceed the maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. Due to security restrictions - certain items cannot be carried in cabin baggage - click here for details. For the safety and convenience of all passengers, cabin baggage must fit underneath the seat or in the overhead compartment.
