Put a number, or letter, on each box, then on a notebook, or pad of paper, write down the contents of each box. When you get to your destination, and you need a particular item, you need only to look at your list to ascertain which box its in, instead of opening every box to find the item. If you're hiring movers, and they loose or misplace a box, you can use this list to file a claim against them.

Use a blade to carefully cut handles on each side of the box, just like cases of beer. It makes it easier to pick up and handle the box.

I suggeste Fedex ground/home deliivery
its usually cheaper then UPS plus you can even schedule them to deliver at a certain time (eveing or day) as well
(extra charge of course) but Fdedex home delivery will
deliver on Saturdays for no additional charges
