check in staff ask if you are carrying any sharp objects in your held luggage and a razor would be a sharp object so no you would not be allowed

Yes you can as long as it is a disposable one and you have to put it in a quart size baggie along with stuff like lotion, and deodorant. Then when you are going threw security, you take it out and put it in the tray so they can see it.
