How do you get a passport and how much does it cost to have one made? You can go to http://travel.state.gov/passport/passpor... where you can fill out and print the passport application. You will need two current passport photos (Walgreens, Rite Aid, and Costco are all places you can get the photos taken for about $7-10 dollars) and a certified copy of your birth certificate. http://travel.state.gov/passport/passpor... it cost about $90 and approx. 6-8 weeks to receive. May want to apply soon depending when you are leaving. In MI, we go to the Post Office. I believe they are around $100. They take awhile, so don't wait until the last minute. Go to http://www.get2packin.biz look in the travel resources for passports. The requirements and application is there. |
