Can you bring large amounts of liquid on a plane if its not in your carry-on luggage? with your suitcases?

im going to the bahamas and i want to buy packs of this great soda, goombay punch. im thinking that i'll bring an empty suitcase and just put a couple six packs in it. it wont be in my carry-on, ill just check it with my other suitcases. WILL THIS WORK??? please answer ;)

Yes, but you are limited to 2 bags of a certain size and wt...and there is a hefty fee for overages. so check with your airline about the size and wt limit for check in bags.

You should be able to bring it on. Just make sure you declare it and it's packed well.
