I keep overpacking and its annoying?

Ever weekend I see my Fiance and stay at his apartment (it usually differs, thursday to monday or friday to monday) anyway I always over pack my clothes and I really have no clue how to pack, Also my car is getting fixed and because of my Fiance's work hours I'm stuck taking the bus for the next 2 weeks.

Any good tips for packing a small duffel bag and have everything I need
Thank you :-)

I agree with the overpacking answer. Who knows what might come up. but its annoying carrying a heavy bag on the bus lol

Here are some packing tips: (made especially for you!)
1. Check the weather forecasts. It's sunny on Saturday? Bring shorts, not jeans! Rainy Sunday? No tank tops! I think you should make outfits ahead of time (while packing) for each day. For example: For Sunday it's raining so you pack sweat pants and a sweater, Saturday it's sunny and he's taking you out for lunch so you bring shorts, a tank, and a sun dress with leggings.
2. Keep a pair of pajamas and a box of feminine care supplies at his house. And a toothbrush!!! (Don't worry, you can hide the pads rolled up in your PJ's or wherever!)
3. Buy a supply of mini bottles (they have a great set at Wal-Mart with three bottles and a pump bottle!) and fill one with half shampoo, half conditioner, and a bit of water mixed well (making a 2-in-1 to save space!). Fill another with your shower gel, another with makeup remover and use the pump bottle for face wash.
4. Roll clothes! Make sure they won't wrinkle first, though. Just roll them in order. Example: Monday's outfit on the bottom, The Sunday's next, then Pajamas, now Saturday's outfit, a sweater on top, and any extra outfits on the very bottom with your extra shoes.
5. Put toiletries in a plastic bag. You'll be less tempted to pack extra clothes if you're sure nothing will get ruined by you shampoo!

Hope these help!!!!!
=)

well roll up your clothes really small so u have xtra room .

Bring shampoo if he doesn't already have the one you like there bring a weeks worth of clothes or just bring a couple days worth and wash them when your there and brig beauty supplies

first put essentials in (toiletries, 3 pairs of clothing etc.) into one bag then put extra clothes in then other stuff that can be put in until bag is full. That's all you really need

I always think it's better to overpack....you never know what you are going to need

Do you use his or your bathroom stuff? if yours, make sure it's all in little containers. Don't bring your hair dryer, you can do it naturally...
For your clothes, roll them up tight. They shouldn't leave frickles if you do it right.and just push them. it takes a lot less space. Maybe ask your man to give you a draw where you can leave your stuff for the next time...

Lay out what you think you need on the bed first then make yourself put 1/3 of it back.....it works! Assume your fiance has a washing machine, you can always wash things there if you get caught short. If you go every weekend, ask him for a bit of drawer/wardfrobe space then you can at least leave a couple of pairs of shoes/a coat there so the big things dont need to be taken every week. If he is your fiance he shouldnt mind - you are going to be living together when you marry!

Alternatively get one of these bags that you can such the air out of which makes things much smaller, they come in all sizes and are amazing. Some need a vacuum to suck the air out. others you can just roll.

Well maybe first u can try to pack a little less cloths like pack 4 pairs of jeans for 5 days and just wash them but u probly don't want to wear the same shirt 2 times in 1 week because some people might think u don't have a lot of cloths if u do that. And maybe u could just pack stuff that u need like not to much makeup but just a little makeup and maybe u could take a toothbrush and leave it there so that u don't always have to bring it. And anything else that is small u could leave that there too. And that is really all that I can think of. Well GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Also lay everything out on the bed and see what matches and try and make as many matches as you can. try to get 2 uses out of everything. If you cant wear it 2 x (unless its a very special top for going out) then change it to something else.

buy some shampoo and conditioner and leave it at your boyfriends so you dont have to shlep it back and forth.

Several of my friends are from other countries and live in the US. They leave clothes at their other homes for when they visit. That would be the easy way. Just pack a few basics.

Simple is always better. It takes getting used to but for 15 years I was an "air warrior" flying from place to place and I learned fast to pack a few things. Have fun.

The largest and heaviest items are usually shoes. Pack one few pair.
