What to bring on an airplane?

What are good things to bring on an airplane?

I asked this same question weeks ago =)
yea, its hard to decide! haha.

-Portable game systems
Game boys, Nintendo, Psp, etc.
-Magazines
-books
-paper
-pencils, markers etc.
-camera
-laptop
-sleeping pills
-ipod/mp3 player
-cd player
-CDs
-puzzle books
-print outs from your computer

Planning--
-you could plan you to-dos for that month.
-plan accomphishments that you would like done on the trip.

Still in school? you would bring homework or make-up work that you have to do.

If all else fails, stay up & party all night, then sleep the whole time on the plain. Just dont go to sleep at home.

Ds or gamebook, portable DVD player... if you don't have any of those... good book or mags!

a book and a pillow.

a book, PSP, Ipod, Labtop

any games like soduko or a laptop. books if u like to read and ipod of course and thats all.

a vibrator

the things u usually use and lots of music (if u like music)
and something to cover ur ears (it will hurt)

Liquids, nail clippers, pocket knife, taser, marijuana, TNT, and pepper spray. Bring these things and prepare for hilariousness.

Magazines...lots!
Crossword puzzle.
Video game system
iPod.
A small pillow is a must.
Maybe a blanket (it's cold most of the time)

Some entertainment - like others mentioned. I like good magazines - maybe pick some up in the airport store for the most recent ones that you haven't read yet.

Also maybe some gum for when your ears pop, or some snacks of your own to keep nausea at bay.

Magazine, mp3 player/ipod.

When you actually get past security to the airport terminals, go buy a bottle or two of water and some snacks to bring onto the plane with you. (You cant bring food or drinks through security). This is good to have just in case you get stuck sitting on the plane before take off for a while or there is too much turbulence in the air and the flight attendants cant serve drinks or snacks.

have a good trip :)

cloths
coat
important medicine maybe
pets
purse
stuff to read
family
friends
comb
a list of things that need to be put in storage department...LOL

magazines, snacks, gum, eye mask, ipod, water bottle, quiz book, pillow, games, paper & pencil, and other fun stuff

any games like soduko or a laptop. books if u like to read and ipod of course a blanket or a pillow maybe and some spear clothes in case, toothbrush, depending on where your going. Portable things you like.

ipod/mp3 player, dvd player, magazines/books, hand held games, etc.

when travel i bring my ipod a few girly magazines and my favorite pillow.....another thing i try to do before flights is to make my self tired haah so i can fall asleep :)

a pillow, an ipod, some snacks & a few magazines usually hold me over on a flight.

a snack if it's going to be a long flight because they don't give you much, but they will offer you something to drink
a camera to take pictures (turn off the flash)out the window if you're flying in the daytime, and have a window seat + a map maybe to check out where you are by landmarks if you're into geography.
wear comfortable layered clothes and slip on shoes no metal
if you're not into or able to look out the window bring a book or handheld game, mp3 player
bring chewing gum to relieve pressure in your ears and take Dramamine preflight if you're prone to motion sickness
bon voyage

Bring something to relax or occupy yourself. No need for a pillow or blankets, they will usually be provided.

-Game Boy, PSP, or other portable game device.
-Books (Fiction, Non Fiction)
-Sketch Book or Coloring Book.
-Magazines.
-Laptop, or portable DVD Player.
-Zune, iPod, Cd Player, or other MP3 Player.
-A pen or pencil and a notebook.
-Arts and crafts (Gum wrapper chains, knitting, etc.)

Unless you hate reading, my personal favorite is a magazine or two that interests you. It's fun to read a magazine back to front, you might be surprised what kinds of interesting things you'll find in the aricles, if it's not something you usually get a chance to do.

That depends on the length of your flight. I would avoid bringing electronics on because you don't get much time to use them between takeoff and landing. Instead, bring a good book or magazine to read. It beats just sitting there and staring at the back of someone elses head. Also, dress in layers. The cabin tends to be really stuffy before taking off but cools down alot once you get in the air. Avoid taking a bulky carry-on, pillow or coat with you...it will just get in your way on a cramped airplane. Also, bring plenty of gum to chew so your ears won't pop as much. Don't bring snacks or drinks from outside the airport though, they will be confiscated at security.

the more important question is, what shouldn't you bring. prohibited items in your carry-on bags will at least be confiscated, and may result in your being denied access to board the airplane, or fly at all. different countries have different rules and regulations, but in general:
- nothing with a sharp point - ie, shaving razors, scissors, nail clipper
- nothing that remotely resembles a gun or any other weapon, even if its a toy
- if you must travel with prescription medicines, make sure they are in their original packaging with the prescription label attached. a note from your doctor clearly identifying the medication and explaining why you need it will also help prevent hassle.
- any liquids or gels must be less than 3 ounces each, and must all fit in a 1 quart zip-top plastic baggie. only one baggie per person!
- removing any data from cellphones, laptops, and PDAs before flying is recommended, at least when travelling in the US. your laptop, pda, etc can and may well be searched extensivly before you board the plane, so make sure anything you don't want read at the security checkpoint is removed.

music, book/magazine, food (you can only buy liquids after you get past security though, and the food is DISGUSTING on planes). If you're traveling alone I wouldn't recommend sleeping. Sometimes it gets a little chilly on the plane so bring a sweatshirt, coat, or blanket. Maybe some travel size toiletries (in a zip lock bag) and an extra change of clothes in case you get stuck in the airport. You can listen to electronics after about 15 minutes up in the air but you have to turn it off about 15 minutes before landing. So if it's a long flight I would recommend it.

Games, books, magazines, ipod or even your laptop. I always find magazines the best things on planes.
