Why is Ottawa cool place to live?

why is Ottawa cool place to live anyone no?

It is on the Rideau Canal, very scenic. It has the Parliament Buildings and is the capital of Canada. Ottawa is a very multicultural city with good universities. It is a beautiful city with much to offer.

Ottawa isn't the "coolest" place to live. But it offers you a fairly clean, quiet, and safe place to live that's close to Montreal, The US border, Decent Ski hills (Tremblant/Vermont) and Toronto.
The Byward market area offers you a few clubs for the nightclub enthusiast, we have one of the best NHL teams in the Senators, and the Canal is great for skating in the winter.
For the sports enthusiast, there are hundreds of different leagues and clubs in the area. Also river rafting is close on the Ottawa river.
Regards

It isn't the 'coolest' place, but an interesting place to live.

Right by Quebec - I (used to) lived in Orleans (east of Ottawa by about 15-30 minutes of a drive). There are all the museums (Museum of Civilization in Quebec, Museum of Science and Technology in downtown Ottawa, Museum of Nature or something in downtown), there's the Parliament Buildings, the Rideau Canal where, if it's still cold enough, you can skate on in the winter and get beaver tails (also known as elephant ears - it's a pastry), and many damn forts surrounding Ottawa and Quebec.

There are many other things too, but I don't remember them.

Actually you must consider Gatineau in the area too we have

Mont Tremblant-A very good ski resort in the Outaouais
Les Promenades de Outaouais- Second Largest Shopping Mall in Ottawa-Gatineau
Hull-Chelsea-Wakefield Steam Train
La Masion du Citoyen-City Hall in Gatineau includes fountain and art gallery.
Casino du Lac Leamy-Casino
