Great sales on the 27th?

where are great sales on the 27th of December in Ottawa? or will it be only on the 26th?

Boxing Day is the big sale day in Canada. Almost every store will be open at noon on Dec-26th to get rid of their Christmas overstock.

Sales generally go from 30% to 80% off. Some places, like Futureshop and Best Buy, will have online sales starting at midnight Dec-26th, and some stores may have "Boxing Week" sales that may last the rest of the week.

Keep in mind two things:

1) Everyone and their uncle will be out to get a great deal, so arrive early if you do go.

2) Make sure you are not claustrophobic or hate crowds, because you will be in with everyone else fighting for deals.

3) Watch your purse or wallet. Whenever and wherever people are banging into each other with a lot of cold cash to buy things, you will have the pickpocets out.

And remember that in Toronto in 2005, an innocent young girl was shot to death on Boxing Day in a drive-by shooting. This year, some idiot started shooting it up in a US mall during a busy shopping day. Make sure to keep your eyes open for any suspicious characters
