1. Do you have a chinatown? and is it... big? or small? worth visiting?
2. Are there alot of job positions open (like how the west is DESPERATE for employees - such as Calgary)

In Ottawa the capital of Canada of course there is lots to do if you are new in town!!! We do have China town on Somerset(downtown) and for Christmas we have the parlaments lights on every night until the new year!! Beautiful to see. We also have Little Italia on Preston. We have all sorts of musems. We have the longest skating "pond" in the world . In February we'll have Winterlude great stuff for a long winter.

I think the Ottawa Chinatown would be considered small in comparison with Toronto or Vancouver; it is small but vibrant. And while there are lots of employment opportunities in Ottawa, especially in the service sector, the city is certainly not desperate like Calgary.

Ottawa is well worth a visit.

Yes, Chinatown stems off Somerset Street; going east drive down Wellington, it becomes Somerset. Or take Bronson to Somerset and turn left.
No there are not as many job opportunities here as Calgary, never has been. Pretty much a government city.
But you'll live No Where As Nice.
