Where is a good, fairly inexpensive place to stay while in Ottawa, Ontario for a weekend? The travelodge on carling & kirkwood has an awesome pool and water slides plus they aren't that expensive & parking is included. Check out the hotels in the downtown core. They can be pricey but if you stay at a Holiday Inn or Best Western then it won't be too bad. You're basically looking at approx. $115 for two people. This would include any Best Western or Quality Inn type of hotel. Which are good hotels. Average but clean and usually has everything you need. I stayed at Ottawa University--it was a decent place to rest your head--and it was very inexpensive. However that was in the summer--you could call and ask if they have any rooms available. Oh, and it was downtown--you could easily walk to the Parliament Buildings etc. |
