Has anyone ever gone to the diefenbunker in carp,ontario??

im going for a class trip in grade 8 i live in nepean by the way i was just wondering who has been.

Yes, we have visited the Diefenbunker, and found it to be very interesting. I'm not sure if you need to be a history "buff" to enjoy it, or not. The bunker tells a story about cold war paranoia during the 1950s and 1960s when many people were genuinely frightened about the possibility of a nuclear war. There is nothing glitzy about the facility; it is not Walt Disney; it's real.

If you live near Ottawa, it makes for an interesting outing, and will take you about 60 - 90 minutes to do through. By the way, no matter the weather, it's cold inside. If you go during the heat of the summer, dress for cool autumn.

Yes I have, it's nothing to spectacular, unless you're a history or war buff. It is cool how the thing is built..
In all honestly,you could make it a great day trip by combining it with a stop in Carp. It's a nice small town.
