I booked a room at the ARC hotel in Ottawa, was it a good choice? And anything I should do well Im there?

how are the museums? I hate war museums and art usually but love science and other history

Well not liking this city to much as I have been here all my life lets see.
If you rent a car you could take a cruise along the parkway that's cool its goes from far west all the way out to the east end.You could like lol go check out the Parliament building yuk but I would stick with a drive along the river banks.

Oh Arc is a wonderful choice of a hotel, that is my first choice! Always great service and the rooms are very comfortable!

As for things to do, i enjoy Byward market, and getting a tour of the mint, as well as the civilization museum. There are so many different museums you won't be dissappointed.

as the front desk for brochures and coupon books, most hotels offer them if asked for. and the staff will have great recommendations too

The nature and civilization museums are under repair so it is best to visit the science and technology museum
