What are some good site and attractions in Ottawa?

My boss is going to Ottawa for 4 days and she wants me to find some cool places for her to check out. I have never been there so I dont know what its like so I was wondering if you guys would help me out.

The Museum of Civilization across the river in Hull is well worth the taxi drive.

If she likes to walk - there is a trail along the rideau canal which is lovely. In winter its a skating rink.
Irish pub:
44 Sparks St, Ottawa, ON K1P 5A8 路 613-230-4433
Type:Late Night / After Hours, Live Music, Pub

Ottawa's favorite Irish Pub, with an interior crafted in and imported from the Emerald Isle itself, is a terrific place to visit and soak up a little local color and history (not to mention a pint or two). After all, namesake D'Arcy McGee, the "Father of Confederation," was assassinated on nearby Sparks Street in 1868, just a few short paces away. The pub boasts excellent selections of single-malt scotches and Irish whiskeys, as well as all the standard ales. A full Irish menu is available, including such traditional favorites as Guinness steak, shepherd's pie, Finnegan's Fry and corned beef and cabbage.
She'll want to check out the ByWard Market-lots of restaurants, bars, and outdoor market.

Ottawa by night? The real question is how to choose. From quiet and intimate to busy and happening, there鈥檚 always something exciting going on.
The heart of the action is the ByWard Market. You can sample fine dining at such trendy restaurants as the Empire Grill, Social or Kinki, go for a martini at with-it bars like the Helsinki Disco and Lounge, have a drink at the Hard Rock Caf茅, or enjoy the duelling pianos at Fat Tuesday鈥檚.

There鈥檚 lots of action, too, along Elgin Street, with its pubs and restaurants. And in Gatineau, explore the area around La Promenade du Portage鈥攖he live performances at Le Petit Chicago, or the Caf茅 aux 4 jeudis, with its outdoor cinema in the summer.
Check out the activities at the National Arts Centre

or if she's into more of the rock stuff there is Barrymore's

Parliament Hill is quite a draw.

I've been to Ottawa in the Spring and toured the capital and saw the tulip festival. The farmers market is also nice to see.

Ottawa is a great city. Here are some of the best places to visit.
