Go out to the east end of the Rockcliffe Airport (if you can get out there - it may be a bit of a hike from where you can park the car. Plunk yourself down a while before sunrise ... you'll be looking east, across the Ottawa River toward Upper and Lower Duck Islands.

If you're more a downtown type, walk across the Pont Alexander to the open area around the Museum of Civilizations on the Gatineau side. Look east (diagonally across the river toward Rideau Falls).

Along the Ottawa Canal near the Dow's Lake or you can try Hog's back Falls.

probably near the canal or near riverside im guessing? lol.
oh and near the bridge to gatineau. downtown
