Moving to mexico?

I live in USA.I'm russian and my husband is mexican. We are moving to mexico in 4 month. Can anybody tell me about life in Mexico?

Life is good if you have money ... and can be pretty sad if you don't. Just hope he has a good job when he comes back. People make it with the help of extended familes

Mexico is a huge country so alot depends on where you will be living.

WELL IT KIND OF DEPENDS ON WHAT PART OF MEXICAO U GO TO BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME PRETTY COOL PLACES BUT THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THAT ARE SOO BORING AND STUFF AND THE MILK TASTES FUNKY AND WHAT NOT SO YEAH IT ALL DEPENDS U GUYS SHOULD CONSIDER LOOKING AT THE CONDITIONS OVER THERE INSTEAD OF JUST MOVING SO THAT WAY U COULD OF SEEN WHAT UR GETTING URSELF INTO

It is really hard.. Save up as much money as you can so when you get there you will be prepared.. Jobs in Mexico pay VERY little.. so save up ALOT from your life in USA and you will be fine. $10,000 and you will be ahead of the game. Or else you will sink ..

Mexico is very corrupt , and also very dangerous. You have to be very careful - depending on where you live it can be TERRIBLE or it can be WONDERFUL.. try to find a smaller peaceful village.. a really nice place to live is called Morelia in the state of Michocan.. Whatever you do try to avoid Mexico City.. and if your husband has to work there - move to a different city and have your husband commute like an hour or two every day so you can be safer..

Your standard of living will lower... it will not be as clean, as safe, or as comfortable as in the USA.. you can't drink the water, the air is pretty bad in most places, the streets can be dirty and most peoples homes just don't have the same standards as the USA.. more things like roaches and rats and mroe stray dogs and cats... Once again - depends on what city.. Maybe if you could tell us which city you are moving too?

Ignore tasksgirl! I guess you are moving to a nice place! If you live in a residential zone you do not need to worry about all the things that Tasksgirl wrote! And if you are moving to Mexico I guess is because you have money! But in one thing she is right, DO NOT move to Mexico City, unless is a place like "Las Lomas" that's where rich people live! And I read your other question, you are moving to Oaxaca, Mexico! Oaxaca is a really nice place, well if it's the city, cuz the towns are like so ugly, they barely have phones, but the city is really nice, there are some good places to go to! Hope you enjoy living in Oaxaca!
