Name of port west of Paris?

Name of port west of Paris?

Do you mean "Port" (English word meaning place where ships dock) or "Porte" (French word meaning entry gate)

There is no sea port in Paris although Paris is a river port and shops dock all along the Seine.

The are many places called "porte" in Paris signifying the places where there were once entry points thru the former city wall.

I must assume that you are referring to seaports and not airports or canal ports. The port most closely true west of Paris would be Saint Nazaire.

Caen or Cherbourg or Le harve

It is Brest. I am doing the same crossword puzzle.
