What food products are you not allowed to take into France from the UK? |
What food products are you not allowed to take into France from the UK? You can take anything you want, as long as it's for personal use. As long as it's not raw meat or something, as far as I know there are no serious restrictions. This assumes the food is for your own consumption, not reselling at a market, which would involve EU food hygiene laws. No foodstuff allowed. Only baby food. I believe if it is shop-bought and foilpacked in an EU approved factory as such then meat is allowed. That is the rule for Belgium as i know it. Wouldn't have thought French ruling to be much different. Found this too: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Travel/Qu... There is now free movement of food products from UK to France. Why do you want to bring food to France.? |
