Who owns Niagra Falls?

does Canada own Niagra Falls or does USA own Niagra Falls

There are actually 3 falls that make up the Niagara Falls, the American Falls, which is the highest, the Bridal Veil Falls, and the Horseshoe Falls. Of these only the horseshoe falls are within the border of Canada. So to answer your question, both countries own the falls, just different parts of it, and different views.

half is in canada, half in us. ..I'm not sure, but i think canada has more jurisdiction over all.

Both...there are actually two sets of falls. Horseshoe falls is the "popular" one...the one people who try to go over the falls go over. That is owned by Canada. But there is another set (Bridal Veil Falls) just down the way. If you have ever seen it, it is covered in rocks at the bottom (so you would get killed going over them). That is owned by the US.

It's on both sides of the border. The US part is a New York State Park.

Canada and the US share Niagara Falls. Canada owns the Horseshoe Falls, the ones that are largest and most impressive, the ones most tourists come to see. The US owns the smaller falls - I'm not sure of their name - the Bridal Falls I think.

Canada owns the horseshoe falls, the states owns the small one.
