What are some different things to do in Niagara Falls?

Need ideas for things to do, places to eat, etc. Been to Niagara many, many times. Want something new and different for my birthday in March. We will be on the Canadian side. Best restaurants, best cheesy museums, etc. on Clifton Hill. We are staying at the Marriott Fallsview.

Good choice of hotel, the Marriott is my favourite! Here are my picks.

Restaurants:
- Casa Mia (out of the tourist disctrict, but will arrange a free taxi service... NOT to be confused with Casa d'Oro, which is a terrible restaurant on Ferry St.). This one is definitely fine dining, but reasonably priced and beautiful atmosphere.
- Antica (pizzeria) has an open-kitchen with stone pizza oven, cool atmosphere, great prices, great food (recommend pizza or the gnocchi)

Other stuff:
- Fallsview Casino... fun gaming, usually great entertainment in the 365 Club almost any night of the week

- Rossi Glass (you can see them actually blowing the glass sculptures and vases, they have a boutique where you can get beautiful souvenirs)

- Bird Aviary, Butterfly Conservatory are both pretty cool

- My favourite haunted house is Nightmares, on Ferry St.

- Boston Pizza on Clifton Hill is awesome. The bar is in the middle of the arcade, so its a ton of fun.

Have fun on your trip! Happy b-day!

I agree that this was a good answer.... i really appreciated everyone's ideas. Thank you all so much!!!! Report It

Hi there. you can always do the casino and try the "great wolf lodge"..kind of like an indoor amusement park, waterslides, etc.
have fun at Niagara..

Boston Pizza is really fun for a birthday. They have good food and a bar, also bowling, pool, and a ton of other arcade games.

Here i go!:

Wow Marriott that's nice.

I think that's near Clifton hill so here is what you can do!

- admire the beautiful light festival!
- Go to a haunted house like Frankenstein or Dracula!

-there is 2 awesome arcades: the Canadian midway! And THE SPIDER MAN ONE ITS SO FUN!

- The Ripley's believe it or not museum! I fell in love with it!

- Ripley's 4D Moving theatre!

- My personal favorite is the rainforest cafe! OMG! You have to go! Food is awesome! Entertainement rocks! Did you know they have real sharks!

- There is also this place called souvenir city! If you go and you see a women named debbie f.

Thats my aunt!

You can also go to a waterpark called the Great wolf lodge!

I really hope this helps!

Tons of great restaurants to eat at including Planet Hollywood, Boston Pizza, and Rainforest Cafe.
Definitely go to the Ripley's museum, it is a ton of fun and you can spend awhile in there just looking at displays and playing with all the weird stuff at the end.
Tons of arcades in different restaurants and on their own.
If you like getting scared then go to one of the haunted houses.
The Niagara skywheel will give a nice heated or Air Conditioned view of the falls and Clifton hill.
Bird Sanctuary is a lot of fun to spend a few hours in.
The Hershey Store is just awesome, you definitely have to try their cookies and chocolate shake.

I went to the Rainforest Cafe and I thought that was a nice
