What is the nearest airport to Niagra Falls, Canada? |
Is Toronto the nearest airport? Hamilton is the nearest airport. I would know. I live in Niagara. Buffalo is close too but it is alot more complicated to fly into the states from Canada. Buffalo is at the LEAST 30min. After you go through customs at the airport, Then go through customs at the boarder. Also Traffic in Buffalo is crazy compared to Hamilton. I can drive to Hamilton going 120 km/h in 25 min. Buffalo Airport is probably closer than Toronto. The one with ariplanes. Buffalo International is closest. Buffalo NY is maybe 30m away at most. Buffalo as far as the "big" airports Hamilton and Niagara arent international airports. The closest would be Buffalo-Niagara, then Toronto. It depends on your destination. Buffalo is the nearest International airport, Hamilton is closer but limited carriers land there. For small craft, Niagara District Airport accomodates all private aircraft, it is minutes away from the Falls. There is also private airstrips in Chippawa and Wainfleet, close to the Falls as well. Buffalo, NY Just to correct one point Hamilton Airport (John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport) is an international airport. Technically Niagara Falls airport is the closest.. on the US side, then prob Buffalo or Hamilton airport, then Pearson (Toronto) . Considering that Niagara falls and Hamilton have a very small volume of flights I'd say stick to Buffalo- its def the cheaper one compared to Pearson. |
