What is the best airport to fly into to visit Niagara Falls?

Canada or New York? And would you have a reccomendation for a place to stay in either area...that is nice but cheap.

I've always flown into Buffalo when flying to Niagara Falls. It's only like 30 minutes away!

You could fly into Hamilton airport (Canada), or Buffalo airport (USA). Buffalo is closer to Niagara Falls than Hamilton, but both are within a reasonable distance. You can stay on either side of the border, but keep in mind that you will want to visit the Canadian side because it has a nicer view.

There is NO international airport in Niagara Falls. The closest International Airport is in Toronto, Pearson International Airport. I would choose Pearson then drive down to Niagara Falls (about a 2 hr drive). So whether u choose a airport in Canada or USA u still need to drive to Niagara Falls (unless there is a airport there, which i really doubt).

our tiny little airport just outside before Niagara on the Lake is just mostly local airtraffic but yes there is one.
Toronto International is farther away & yah it takes about 2 hours to get to the falls.
Buffalo is a smaller though still international & depending on the boarder depends on how long it will take you to get there.Most people I know like the Buffalo airport.

Now I don't like the Brock hotel that resembles 1920's style to me the rooms are too small. If they offer you the Niagara on the Parkway I would say no. It is farther away & unless they have totally revamped it I would say no thanks. The Hampton is very nice as is the Skyline Inn. These are in the heart of the falls & walking distance to the Casino & Clifton hill & the falls themselves.The prices do go down the farther away from the falls you are so make sure you check one of the local maps before booking . Check out the packages.
