I am wanting to go on the lady of the mist boat tour at Niagara Falls in December. Do they run over winter?

It's Maid of the Mist. And according to their website, no they don't run over Winter.

They run from April to October.

Pity, cause it's really worth seeing. Have a good holiday anyway!

I went on the Maid of the Mist boat tour at Niagara Falls in October this year and it was one of the last weeks for the season. They were closing up shortly after I was there.
It was really great though but you get terribly wet despite the blue plastic ponchos they give you but it's all part of the experience which I wouldn't have missed for the world!

We live near Niagara Falls. The Maid of the Mist boat does not operate during the winter months.

I went to Niagara Falls in December 2005. The boat tour was not running then. I understood the tour only ran during the summer months. I can't remember what months they defined as summer but assume it will be something like April to October.

no they dont but there is plenty of overthings to do there you could go to toronto for the day shopping

All reports I've read say Niagara is one of the world's tackiest tourist sites.
