Bringing OTC 222's across Canadian/American Border?

My husband is in Buffalo, NY on a business trip, so he and his co-workers are going to park at the Falls and walk across the border into Canada. My father (who's Canadian) wants him to stop at the pharmacy and bring back a few bottles of 222's. My grandparents used to bring them on trips, but it has been many years and I'm sure regulations have changed. Would my husband be allowed to walk back across with the medication?

i would call the canadian/us border and ask them if he can take it across but it all depends how big the 222 bottle's are and that's the only way that might work because of the medication that he is getting.

It's technically illegal, but they normally don't enforce the law if you are bring in a less than 3 month supply.

222 is a controlled substance in the States and not in Canada.
However they are not on the pharmacy shelves you must ask the pharmacist and he'll get them. Now if was me I just wouldn't claim I had them on my person when I entered the U S again......unless they perform a search they'll never know..........................You guys (border guys) are really paranoid so I wouldn't place a bet that they won't........but the odds are with your dad. All the times I've crossed the border with 222's and never been caught is dozens, they always with me when I travel.
