Best Bars in Niagara falls?

Going to Niagara Falls, staying near the Cliffton hill soon. What are the best bars, atmosphere, beer in walking distance? And Clubs? Whoever has been or lives there, suggestions?

Within walking distance there are a lot of places to go.

Right on Clifton Hill there is Rumours Nightclub, an exceptional sports and games bar attached to Boston Pizza, and across from there is a karaoke bar.

Mardi Gras Nightclub is just off Clifton Hill.

There are a couple pretty good places just past the top of Clifton Hill. I think one is Yank's and another is Tony's (or some other Italian name).

At or around Casino Niagara there is Hard Rock Cafe and a couple of other good spots worth checking out.

Within the Fallsview Casino and Resort is the Dragonfly Nightclub. But remember that there is a strict dress code in effect there.

There are a lot of places to go. It really depends on the crowd you're looking for.

There are a few on Clifton Hill but pretty pricey. Boston Pizza has a cool bar after 10 on weekends, Rumours is ok but watch out as they have a lot of problems. Nothing else much around there but Strip clubs.

Go to St. Catharines it is about 10 minutes from the falls, lots of great bars due to the colleges and university.

Big Bucks, Moose & Goose, L3, Great Canadian, Red Hot Chili Pepper, Patrick Sheans.

The old casino and new casino are both good entertainment. Not a whole lot for good bars in the Falls. The strip joints are further away from Clifton Hill.

St.Catharines does have a happening bar scene downtown during the school season and in Port Dalhousie (north St.Catharines) in the summer.

Most of those bars mentioned already are in Downtown St.Catharines. Some more good downtown bars include Stella's (nice dance club, no sneakers allowed), the Honest Lawyer, and the Merchant Ale House.
