驴What is the airport I should arrive to go to Niagara Falls?

I don't know if Buffalo, NY airport is closer than the Toronto Pearson Airport? Which airport is closer to Niagara Falls attractions?

The closest airport is "Niagara Falls International Airport" in Niagara Falls, New York.

Buffalo-Niagara International Airport is about 30 minutes away.

Pearson International Airport in Toronto is 90 minutes away.

In my opinion, take the closest one that offers you the best fares or a direct flight, and then rent the car from there.

Keep in mind that if you rent a car in New York, you will need to get authorization from the rental agency to bring it across the border into Canada, if you are planning to visit the falls from the Canadian side.

Do a map quest from both cities to Niagara falls, resort you plan on visiting.

The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is your best bet. It's 10 minutes to Niagara Falls, NY and a trip over a bridge to Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. If going into Canada, make sure you have your passport. They are being very strict these days. Toronto is a couple hours away. Have a great trip and enjoy the Falls. I live about an hour away and it takes my breath away everytime I see it.

Buffalo is definetly closer, but it depends what country you want to arrive in, if your american then its best not to go through customs, and viseversa, the Canadian side is alot more bigger and there are alot more attractions. Its about an hour drive from YYZ (Toronto Pearson) so i'd recommend renting a car. The City on the Canadian side is called St. Cathrines.

Aside from being farther compared to the other airports mentioned here, plane tickets to Pearson Airport are notoriously much more expensive because the landing fee charged by the airport to airlines is the world's costliest. So just fly in thru Buffalo airport then cross the Rainbow Bridge to Canada. There are much more things you can do at the Canada side of the Falls; i.e. much more tourist-friendly.
