When does niagara falls close?

does niagra falls close down or disallow visitors to come because the water freezes in the winter? can someone also provide more details about its operating times?

The actual falls itself never closes..it's open 24/7 for people to see.
Also, the falls does not freeze over in the winter! The water is far to much and too strong for that to happen..though i think it did freeze way back in the early 1900's or something, but the falls was much smaller then.
But if your going to the attractions on Clifton Hill, they may close sometime at night, i'm pretty sure they're not 24/7.
But there's clubs and casinos aswell!

Ya the Falls never closes. It does get kind of cold during the winter and a lot of tourists don't come but it is a lot cheaper than. Hotels, restaurants and everything are discounted because no one is visiting.

I personally like it better in the winter, not as many people and I think it looks a lot nicer when there is snow on the ground.

They reduce the amount of water over the falls at late at night after the tourists leave. This is done by diverting water away from the river to the generating stations water holding areas. I was told that most people wouldn't notice the reduced flow because it is at night.
