the US dollar is in parity with the Canadian dollar? What is it going to take for the Canadian Gvt to realize that its country is loosing tourists, unless they lower the prices , for lodging, food, etc... hey, my name is jeff and ive worked at the niagara parks, that has the falls for the past 20 years. Right now its about the same as if you were going to any other tourist attraction in the states, your just not getting the benifit from a strong dollar anymore. You can get deals on hotels meals and attractions, yes we have been having fewer tourist since 911. Now is a great time to visit, the prices are lower and fewer tourists so you can have a better time. The park i work for is 34 miles lang, it goes from lake to lake and the falls are in the middle. we have alot to see and alot of it is free. you can get combo passes wich are really worth the money. there are alot of ways to spend money here, but there is alot to see if you want to do the visit cheaper. if you need any help planing your trip email me. Jeff it allways was in 1990 a hotel room by the falls was $350 a night prob gone to $500 now Never been to the Falls, but Montreal is my second home. It seems like only yesterday I was getting $1.50 Can. for my $1.00 U.S. It'll take long, long years of Democratic leadership to beef up our dollar again. |
