Mackem or Geordies??? Who's harder and better???

Who's harder out of a Mackem and a geordie? Don't be saying they're both wimps!

mackems

who cares, theyre both a bunch of insular dolts

Geordies act hard with that overcoat poncing...but makems are well 'ard. You have to be to be that ginger and live long enough get a stiffy!

I've been to Newcastle. It was the unfriendliest place I have ever been. The locals were laughably 'macho' and seemed to think they were special because they could pretend not to be cold!

They were aggressive and ignorant.

Simple - smoggies of course mackems and geordies are scotsmen with their brains bashed oot!

i reckon theyre both hard, on seeing each other, and rub each others, till they go soft again.

I'm a geordie so everyone insulting them can f**k off because you can't generalise a whole population of people by stereotypes! The north east is apparantly the friendliest area of Britain. And the answer to your question is we're probably equally hard to mackems, but way better at football!

What the heck is a mackem? Does it matter anyway?
Being physically hard is not much of an attribute unless you have a brain to go with it. Have geordies or mackems got brains?

A surefire question that will always be debated in Newcastle and Sunderland!!

The PC answer is that there is good and bad on both sides and therefore we are all equal (its also a boring statement too).

By the way, the word Sunderland and Mackem isn't recognised by the spelling check, does that mean Mackems are inferior?
