Practical to use a bike for transportation in Suffolk County, LI? |
Specifically, the area off Nichol's Rd/347. Unwise? Anyone else use a bike as their main means of transportation in this neighborhood? There is a bike lane on Stony Brook Rd and I believe 25A. The roads are tight so I would be vigilant while riding a bike. It's a safe neighborhood, but I would recommend it during the day because of the narrowness of the roads. Great way to get around if you are SBU student. |
