Are there any political plays in New York city during March 15th-22nd?

I am traveling to NY for the first time this March over spring break. I am wanting to see a play while I am there, basically some sort of theater but I always hear of really good political theater. Does anyone know if they have any good political plays during the week of March 15th to 22nd. If so how do I go about purchasing tickets and are there any web sites for these kind of things?

Betrayed at the Culture Project is a play about the Iraq war written by a Iraq War corrospondent for the New Yorker named George Packer.

It sounds like an interesting play!

The theater (The Culture Project) is at 55 Mercer Street, in SoHo; (212) 352-3101. It is running through March 16.

Also about the Iraq war is The National Theater of Scotland鈥檚 production of 鈥淏lack Watch,鈥?it's about a Scottish Army regiment in Iraq and it was VERY popular last fall! It sold out of it's initial run, closed, and has just been brought back to open on March 2. At the St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, 38 Water Street, Dumbo, Brooklyn; (718) 254-8779.

I just found one more play about Iraq called Dying City. I don't know anything about this one, I only just discovered it, while looking for info on the other two plays (both of which I had heard good things about.) Dying City is at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, Lincoln Center, 150 West 65th Street, (212) 239-6200 through April 2.

Below I have provided links to reviews of these three plays in the New York Times. The review for the Black Watch is from it's original run in the Fall, but it's the exact same production that's coming on March 2, I believe.

Why spend your time and money looking for political theater. The best entertainment is watching the current set of candidates creating their own political nonsense.

Forget the politics and go somewhere here that you will really enjoy!!

I should give a disclaimer that I write for them, but -- there's a web site, nytheatre.com, that tries to be the most comprehensive listing site for theater in New York. (It's an all volunteer staff, and those volunteers ARE theater people.)

I'd take a look -- they don't just cover the Broaday and off-Broadway shows that everyone else does, they also review the little off-off-Broadway shows that may be more what you're looking for.
