How can I get to Macy's (largest store in the world) from the Staten Island Ferry in Downtown Manhattan?

There are two ways to get there.

Option 1
Take the uptown #1 train (Red line) to 34th Street-Penn Station

Option 2
Take the uptown "R" or "W" trains (Yellow Line) to 34th Street-Hearld Square.

Either subway line will take to Macy's from South Ferry and the Ferry Terminal.

Take the subway. You can get a R or W train from Whitehall Street-South Ferry and take that uptown to Herald Square. Or by taking an uptown 1 train from South Ferry to Penn Station Taking the 1 to Penn Station though will require you to exit to street level and walk to the Herald Square Macy's store.

BEST WAY WILL BE.
Take uptown 4/5 from Bowling Green to 14th St, and transfer to Queens-bound (N), (Q) to 34th St, 1st stop on express. Remember, on weekends, N runs local between Canal & 34th Sts.
On weekends, when trains doesn't come often, it's better to way at 14th St because you could take any train local or express trains to 34th St that depends which comes fast.

take the 1 train from south ferry (1st stop) to 34th street penn station and walk one block.

take the r train from whitehall street to 34th street (its across the street from macy's)

go to Pennsylvania station and take the 7th avenue local to south ferry and walk to the staten island ferry
