Question about Amsterdam?...? |
In August I will go to Amsterdam, and I want to know if, the coffe shops, are close. Do they close in july? thank at all people that can help me... bye bye and sorry for my horrible english.... I think I know what you are asking. From July Holland is supposed to be stopping all smoking inside restaurants, hotels etc. And you are asking if that means the joints etc in coffee shops? why would they be closed? i think there is a couple of bank hols in Holland in august ,so a few slow week-ends ,as everything shuts up in Europe, when there is a bank hol You will find many tourists there in summer, so there are many places open to serve the tourists. Also, does every restaurant in New York City close on President's Day? No. Similarly, not every restaurant, bar, and shop in closed in Amsterdam on any particular day. I was in Amsterdam in the winter and everything was open at that time. I feel safe to assume that everything will be open in the summertime as well. well all the residents go on vacation in a tropical place somewhere in america called Suriname. so i think you would have the coffee shop all for yourself, and it will be open. Summer is big tourist season here in the Netherlands! Amsterdam and all of it's legal coffeeshops will be open. It's a great city with so much to see and do. Summer is great there, just more crowded, but most everything will be open. Don't worry, they'll be open .... |
